Explore Identity through Textile with WORD!
Join facilitator and writer Juliette Burton for a welcoming creative workshop exploring identity and mental health through textiles at Kala Arts CIC 10-12pm. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own textile squares, reflecting on personal experiences, stories and connections through creative expression.
This workshop links to Juliette’s performance at WORD! later that evening, taking place from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Attenborough Arts Centre, providing an opportunity to continue the conversation and celebrate creativity in a supportive environment.
All workshop attendees will be added to the guest list to watch the show for free

Award-winning comedian and theatre-maker Juliette Burton is coming once again at Quetzal to deliver not one session but three sessions exploring textile and poetry. They’d like those costumes to represent more than just their own experiences but YOURS. They’d like also for your words to be heard.
This is the first workshop out of three leading up to WordFest! on the 27th October at Leicester City Library.
