Take part in a new textiles workshop, All FREE, on Wednesday 29th January 11-1pm and see your work on stage!
Award-winning comedian and theatre-maker Juliette Burton and award-winning bespoke tailor and costume designer Sarah Hollebon – want to create a new show featuring two bespoke costumes. They’d like those costumes to represent more than just their own experiences but YOURS.
Both Sarah and Juliette have experienced mental health distress. Both have found creativity helped them hugely. So now they want to connect with you about the project, where it will be going and teach you how to create fabrics that will be a part of onstage costumes for a new stage show!
Have you ever felt crazy or questioned the status quo? ever wondered whether it is crazy to be sane? if you’ve ever felt separated, alone or othered, Juliette and Sarah want to welcome you with open arms.
In this workshop, stage show creator, Juliette will be right there to support you in the process however you choose to take part.
The workshop is FREE
All you have to do is bring yourself
What to expect: Juliette will talk through the whole session. You’ll be in safe hands as you learn new crafting skills and contribute to the costume design for Juliette’s next stage show!
