Counsellor-led Group Sessions
Following the success of our previous group counselling rounds, we are pleased to offer another series of Counsellor-Led Group Support Sessions. These small, professionally facilitated sessions are designed to provide support, guidance, and practical strategies to help you cope while waiting for ongoing counselling, without any pressure to share your personal experiences.
Join us on Thursdays from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, starting 1st May, for a 6-week program led by a qualified and compassionate counsellor at Quetzal.
These groups are not therapy and will not impact your individual counselling sessions. You can attend one group session or book in for up to 6 sessions, depending on your needs. The sessions will be psychoeducational in nature, with a different theme each week to help you concentrate on strategies and coping mechanisms. We have a schedule of workshops for 2025 with themes as follows:
Spring 2025
Week one: 1st May – Processing Emotions
Week two: 8th May – Anxiety
Week three: 15th May – Anger
Week four: 22nd May – Defence Mechanisms
Week five: 29th May – Relationships
Week six: 5th June – Resilience
Summer 2025
Week one: 3rd July – Processing Emotions
Week two: 10th July – Anxiety
Week three: 17th July – Anger
Week four: 24th July – Defence Mechanisms
Week five: 31st July – Relationships
Week six: 7th August – Resilience
Autumn 2025
Week one: 4th Sept – Processing Emotions
Week two: 11th Sept – Anxiety
Week three: 18th Sept – Anger

Winter 2025

The hour long sessions will run for 6 weeks at the Quetzal building located at 14-16 Talbot Lane, LE1 4LR.
