The third round of Counsellor-led Group Sessions is now available to book via Eventbrite!
28th November onwards, we’re offering group support sessions, led by a professional counsellor, which are designed to help you cope while you wait for ongoing counselling. Our small group sessions offer a supportive environment where you can receive guidance from a trained professional, without any pressure to share your personal experiences.
These groups are not therapy and will not impact your individual counselling sessions. You can attend one group session or book in for up to 6 sessions, depending on your needs. The sessions will be psychoeducational in nature, with a different theme each week to help you concentrate on strategies and coping mechanisms.
The themes are as follows:
- Week one: Processing Emotions (28th November 2023)
- Week two: Anxiety (5th December 2023)
- Week three: Anger (12th December 2023)
- Week four: Defence mechanisms (9th January 2023)
- Week five: Relationships (16th January 2023)
- Week six: Resilience (23rd January 2023)
The hour long sessions will run for 6 weeks each Tuesday at 6:30pm, 28th November onwards via Zoom.
