Counsellor-led Group Sessions

Counsellor-led Group Sessions are now available to book via Eventbrite!

We are now offering group support sessions, led by a professional counsellor, they are designed to help you cope while you wait for ongoing counselling. Our small group sessions offer a supportive environment where you can receive guidance from a trained professional, without any pressure to share your personal experiences.

These groups are not therapy and will not impact your individual counselling sessions. You can attend one group session or book in for up to 6 sessions, depending on your needs. The sessions will be psychoeducational in nature, with a different theme each week to help you concentrate on strategies and coping mechanisms. The themes are as follows:

Week one: 7th October Processing Emotions
Week two: 14th October Anxiety
Week three: 21st October Anger
Week four: 28th October Defence Mechanisms
Week five: 4th November Relationships
Week six:11th November Resilience

The hour long sessions will run for 6 weeks at the Quetzal building located at 14-16 Talbot Lane, LE1 4LR.
