Leave us a Message of Hope for World Suicide Prevention Day so we can add it to our Messages of Hope Wall.
World Suicide Prevention Day is observed annually on September 10 to raise global awareness, break the stigma, and encourage action to prevent suicides. This year theme is Change the Narrative.
For it, Leicestershire County Council Mental Health & Suicide Prevention initiative has invited Mental Health Friendly Places to host a Messages of Hope Wall in their venue and share information about the Start a Conversation Suicide Prevention Awareness training
As a recognized Mental Health Friendly Place, Quetzal decided to join the initiative and take action to help prevent suicide.
- We are building a display with attendees from the drop-in session to showcase in our office reception area at the Business Box and an online wall on our website and social media.
- We are also sharing the training across to our volunteers, beneficiaries, supporters and partners
You can take action too by
- Filling the following form with your message of hope – it will take less than 5 minutes of your time
- Completing the FREE 20min Start A Conversation Suicide Prevention training
- Joining the weekly drop-in sessions at Quetzal between 11-12.30pm to help create the display
- Sharing Quetzal’s messages of hope on the 10th September by visiting our social media pages – Instagram or Facebook
