Tina, organiser of the event, shares why she chose to support Quetzal through this event:
“Quetzal have given me the tools and knowledge to build my confidence and resilience to move on in my healing journey. I have had lots of support through attending various group workshops and your staff have been so amazing and understanding. I did attend some zoom sessions and one to one sessions with qualified councillors and a therapist who understood the different kinds of trauma. I would like to thank them all and raise awareness by organising this charity dinner for Asian Hindu Punjabi community.”
dr Marie Lefebvre, project facilitator at Quetzal
” When I found out that a charity event was organised by Tina, a wonderful supporter and woman, for the Queen’s Jubilee, I was in joy and the team at Quetzal was thrilled. There is so much power in the voice of a survivor in supporting change in their communities. We are so pleased and honoured to amplify and support that power and drive for change.”
