Survivors of childhood sexual abuse often carry deep and lasting effects from their experiences. With the right support, they can begin to process trauma, heal emotional wounds, rebuild self-worth, and regain a sense of safety and control. Compassionate care offers validation, empathy, and practical tools that empower survivors to face challenges, build resilience, and reclaim their lives.
At Quetzal, we provide a safe and supportive space where survivors can explore their experiences at their own pace. Our services help individuals understand and manage difficult emotions, develop healthy coping strategies, and reframe painful narratives. Through counselling and therapeutic techniques, we support the integration of traumatic memories, foster resilience, restore self-esteem, and guide survivors as they navigate life beyond trauma.
Today, 1 in 4 women has experienced sexual abuse – yet fewer than half have ever received the support they need to begin healing.
