Here’s an update and message after reviewing Charnwood Outreach Progress: Please Fundraise and Donate to Quetzal
Our interim project performance report to Charnwood Community Grants confirmed an increasing number of referrals from women living in the region.
In 2020-2021, Quetzal received 40 referrals from women who experienced childhood sexual abuse living in Charnwood Borough.
From April 2021 to December 2021, Quetzal received 52 referrals from women who experienced childhood sexual abuse living in Charnwood. We project to receive 69 referrals by the end of the financial year (March 22) – a 70% increase in the number of referrals compared to 2020-2021.
Our main message is that we need more than ever support for Quetzal to continue providing FREE Counselling Support to Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse.
The more survivors are able to manage and deal with the impacts of abuse, the better it is for themselves, their family and their community
