SUMMARY:Counsellor-led Group Sessions – Winter 2025
DESCRIPTION:Following the success of our previous group counselling rounds\, we are pleased to offer another series of Counsellor-Led Group Support Sessions. These small\, professionally facilitated sessions are designed to provide support\, guidance\, and practical strategies to help you cope while waiting for ongoing counselling\, without any pressure to share your personal experiences. \nJoin us on Thursdays from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM\, starting 6th Nov\, for a 6-week program led by a qualified and compassionate counsellor at Quetzal. \nThese groups are not therapy and will not impact your individual counselling sessions. You can attend one group session or book in for up to 6 sessions\, depending on your needs. The sessions will be psychoeducational in nature\, with a different theme each week to help you concentrate on strategies and coping mechanisms. We have a schedule of workshops for 2025 with themes as follows: \nWinter 2025 \nWeek one:      6th Nov – Processing Emotions\nWeek two:      13th Nov – Anxiety\nWeek three:   20th Nov – Anger\nWeek four:     27th Nov – Defence Mechanisms\nWeek five:      4th Dec – Relationships\nWeek six:       11th Dec – Resilience \nAttending these sessions can be very effective in helping you begin your recovery journey. \nRegister for these sessions at the website link below.

SUMMARY:Art Workshops with Libby and Maddie - Winter Decorations
DESCRIPTION:Winter decorations \nThursday 13 November\, 6.30-8.30 pm \nCreate colourful paper bird decorations! In this workshop\, you will combine both collage and mark-making skills to make winter bird decorations complete with a hanging loop. \nYou will layer large sheets of paper with colour and texture and then cut around a provided template. Once the pieces have been assembled to create the bird you will then be able to cut further shapes to collage in layers on top. This means each bird created will be completely unique! \nAll materials will be provided including templates to take away so you can make as many more birds as you wish.
