On the 30th November, at St Nicholas Church, invited by Curate Schmucki, Quetzal engaged in discussion and crafts with members of the congregation.
”What can we do to better support LGBTQ+ Child Sexual Abuse survivors? was the central question for the discussion. Christmas Paper Baubles were the object of the crafts.
5 individuals participated in the discussion and crafts. Valuable insights were shared on the experience of trans men engaging with sexual violence services and what can be done to support greater accessibility, maintain and promote the dignity of the trans survivors taking the steps towards their recovery.
More discussions are to follow to improve further accessibility. Check our ‘Reaching out to Childhood Sexual Survivors LGBTQ+ survivors’page for updates on our activities
