Join the Conversation: Neurodiversity & CSA – an informal chat session
Friday, 12th April 2024 | 1:00pm – 2:00pm | in-person at Quetzal
While anyone can be a victim of childhood sexual abuse, research shows that those who are neurodiverse may have a heightened risk of violence, bullying or controlling behaviour. ADHD, Autism, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, and Tourette’s syndrome are all examples of neurodiversity.
Join us at Quetzal for an informal session to raise awareness around Neurodiversity and Childhood Sexual Abuse. It will be chance for you to talk about these issues in a confidential and non judgmental environment over a cup of hot drink and biscuits.
This session is being put together by our lovely emotional support volunteer placements, Annie, Zoe and Hannah.
Please note that this as this is an informal session, there will be no counselors available on site.
