Every Monday at 6:30pm, from 23rd October – 27th November 2023 | in-person at St Annes Church and Community Hall LE3 6FN

At Quetzal, we believe in the power of movement and self-empowerment. That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce our newest series of activities: Empower – Trauma-Informed Martial Arts, Pilates & Strength Fusion. Designed with care and expertise, this unique program is here to help you let off some steam, boost your energy, and leave you feeling empowered like never before.

For survivors of trauma, the journey towards healing and self-empowerment can be a challenging one. We understand the importance of providing a safe and supportive space where survivors can rebuild their strength, both physically and emotionally. Our Empower program is designed with survivors in mind, offering a unique blend of martial arts, Pilates-style strength and flexibility exercises, and low-impact kickboxing techniques—all taught with a trauma-informed approach.

Meet Your Instructor: Tamsin

Empower sessions are all set to be led by Tamsin, a dedicated and experienced female instructor who brings her passion for fitness and empowerment to every class. Tamsin’s approach is grounded in trauma-informed principles, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants, especially survivors who may be on their path to healing.
